Cay Taylan, well known producer, DJ and remixer, is also a primary school teacher. He is a classteacher with special focus on the arts and creativity at a Viennese Primary school. In Cay's class the arts as in music, dance and creative design are as important as literacy, maths and science. During the last four years, Cay Taylan played and recorded music with his pupils, and this EP was the result of it.

For four years the pupils were encouraged try different kind of instruments. They learned about the processes of music production and produced their own pieces. The kids where playing and recording instruments, adding vocals and other sounds. Finally Cay Taylan and his students considered a name for their band: „the Bonksis“ – B as in b class. They found titles for the music as well as a choreography that was performed and filmed.
